This will be one of my shortest “reviews” ever.

Had I not heard over and over from everyone and everywhere how great Bridesmaids was, I might have enjoyed it more. But I went in with high expectations, and ended up disappointed. It did have some funny moments, but for the most part I found it slow and awkward and clunky. Were we supposed to care about Kristen Wiig’s character? I sure didn’t.
I know it’s not the first movie to rely on shock value and uncomfortable humor, but the gross out far outweighs the humor.

Like I said it had its moments, but Bridesmaids is a rental.
Just be sure to watch it on an empty stomach.
