THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA:
PRINCE CASPIAN

Well, it’s not as good as the THE LION, THE WITCH, and the WARDROBE but The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian was OK.
It felt too long, and kind of slow, and like the previous film, it was all over the place regarding the execution of the special effects. That said, it was entertaining enough to make me want to revisit the collected volume that I started reading after watching the previous flick.

Prince Caspian brings back the four youngsters from the Lion, and they do a nice job. They are outshined only slightly by Ben Barnes as the titular character, a noble Prince who attempts to restore Narnia to its previous glory. Peter Dinklage plays Trumpkin, and he’s very cool. He should be in the next movie, if there is one.
Stealing every scene he’s in though, is a mouse. Yep, Reepicheep the sword wielding mouse as voiced by Eddie Izzard is really awesome. Too cool.

Andrew Adamson once again directs, and does a pretty good job. Like I said before, some of the visuals are awesome…some not so much.
Overall, if you liked the first movie, you might like this one too.
It’s probably fine to wait for a rental, but that’s up to you.
