The very impressive cast of Hugh Jackman, Kate Winslet, Sir Ian McKellan, Jean Reno, Andy Serkis, and Bill Nighy provide voices for the surprisingly fun and funny new animated flick, Flushed Away. From Aardman Productions and Dreamworks, the movie is all CGI, but is made to look just like the simple Aardman look, which has become world famous in the form of the beloved Wallace and Gromit flicks.

I really didn’t wanna go see this, but ended up going along with the (extended) family, and I’m glad I did, because Flushed Away is never boring, and the jokes work great. It’s pretty formula and by the book, but so what? When the formula and clichés work, it’s all good, you know? There are also quite a few winks at pop culture and other flicks, including a great one involving Hugh Jackman’s most famous role, that are very refreshing and fun.

Short review, but really, Flushed Away is really great and will likely be enjoyed by every one!
