Like a silent siren
She calls me out
Her silvery light
My guide
My beacon
She looks down on me
Ever vilgilant
Never dimming
Watching over me
A Goddess, Omniscient
I look up at her
In awe
A tear in my eye
Warmth in my heart
Safe in her glow
The night
The sky
They fear us, fight us
Hiding her, shrouding her
Putting her beyond my reach
But I know she's there
