The Hangover is a pretty funny movie for adults. I love me a good R Rated comedy. The only reason I’m not giving this a higher rating, is because there was plenty of stuff in it that I really don’t like, and since this is my review, I can be biased and stuff. So there.

So a bachelor party set in Vegas is nothing new I guess, but Todd Phillips, Jon Lucas and Scott Moore are pretty creative with their story-telling. Add in a pretty good cast, and the movie works pretty well. Bradley Cooper and Ed Helms carry this buddy comedy, which also stars Justin Bartha, Heather Graham, and Zach Galifianakis.

Ed Helms character is kind of similar to his role on The Office here, but with enough differences to not be annoying. He does a really great job here, and is very likable in the role. Bradley Cooper, as usual, plays kind of an asshole, but a likable one. He’s really good here. I can see him carrying his own movie.

Like I said, there are things about The Hangover that I wasn’t crazy about, but overall it’s a fun flick. Go see it, or maybe just wait for the DVD. But check it out.
