Dunno why I agreed to see this, but I actually zonked out three times during Hoodwinked. All three were very quick, but I actually had to ask my girlfriend if I was snoring. Crazy.

All I know is that a decent cast and a pretty good premise can’t overcome distractingly bad animation. It’s TV quality at best, and “Red”, voiced by Anne Hathaway (yummy!), is flat out ugly.
Even Patrick Wharburton’s classic dead pan can’t save Hoodwinked.

It’s a shame too, because like I said, the cast and premise was good. But the bad animation and a lot of jokes that fall flat leave this modern take on fairy tales without a happy ending.
