I LOVE YOU, MAN

Paul Rudd and Jason Segel team up to great results in I Love You, Man, a really funny movie about bro-mance. Rudd plays a newly engaged man who realizes he has no real friends outside his relationship, so his fiancé, played by Rashida Jones, encourages him to go out and find a friend. Enter Segel. Good times.

Directed by John Hamburg, I Love You, Man is a very funny movie. Rudd and Segel are both really great, as we’ve come to expect from them with great movies like ROLE MODELS and FORGETTING SARAH MARSHALL. The entire cast is great, actually. Rashida Jones did a nice job as Zooey, Rudd’s fiancé. Jaime Pressley is great as one of Jones’ best friends. Her husband is played by Jon Favreau, and as always, he’s great, too.

There are plenty of cringe worthy moments in I Love You, Man because Rudd’s character can be very socially awkward. But overall the movie is a great time at the movies. I’m loving the resurgence of the R Rated comedy. I hope it continues for a good, long time.
