Parodies either suck or kick ass.
I guess given those two extremes, I have to say that Not Another Teen Movie kicked ass.
That’s not to say it isn’t a really stupid movie, and a lot of the jokes fall flat, but I still think it kicked ass.

Parodying every teen movie I can think of, including a few I never saw, NOTM has no shame or self restraint. The jokes come fast and furious, and the dialogue and subject matter are way vulgar. There’s even something kinda rare nowadays, nudity, but even that’s done for laughs.

The cast of NOTM did a great job, but being that this is a rush-rush mini-review, I’m not gonna name any of them. They all did a great job of being the stereotypical teen movie characters and then taking the stereotypes one step further.
There’s also a kinda funny cameo in the movie.

Not Another Teen Movie is throwaway, escapist entertainment, but for the right audience, there will be a lot of laughs.
