What the HELL was that?

Les Triplettes De Belleville (LDB, from here on in) is a weird movie.
Weird with a capital W.

An animated film written and directed by one Sylvain Chomet, LDB tells the story of…
Um…
Well, it’s got a boy who later becomes a man
But his mom (or is it his grandmom) looks the same throughout
But the dog gets really fat
But the bike riding…his legs are huge!
And what’s with the frogs

I can scarcely say what LDB is about.
I’m not sure what I saw.
It’s a very strange movie that I heard good things about, but those reviewers are obviously much more open minded than I am.
I was bored, confused, disgusted, and mostly, uninterested.

BUT, I must admit that when the title characters do their stuff, it got my toes tapping.

Really weird stuff.
I never knew the French Canadian types could be so wacky.
Weird.
