Had a pretty good weekend.
Went to Orlando (Sea World specifically).
I think a good time was had by all. Went with my friend and her kids.
(So basically she had to deal with 3 kids, the third being me, since I'm just a big old kid!)
There was a lot of talking and opening up and stuff, so I kept reminding her, what happens in Orlando stays in Orlando, but I don't think she bought it...
Well, I have way too much work to do!

I have nothing to say, yet here I am.
Oh, yeah, I got the new Judas Priest CD, "Angel Of Retribution".
I was never really huge on Priest, but having them back together with Rob Halford is a kick. And I have to say, while the CD doesn't blow me away, it IS definitely Classic Priest, and by their standards, very good.
I have the DualDisc version (or maybe it's only available that way), but I have yet to check out the DVD side.
I was gonna be too lazy to write an actual review, so I guess that was it!

I'm in the process of "getting to know somebody".
So far so good. Maybe it's moving faster than I want it too, but I dunno.
I'm dealing OK, I guess.
There are definitely issues I have to deal with, though...

Might as well bring up the radio again.
Local 93.1 the Pure Rock Station for South Florida is definitely impressing me.
Don't get me wrong, I don't want them playing Metallica all the time (nothing in excess is good), but they actually played "Am I Evil?"!!!
"Am I Evil?"!!! I mean, come on! That's a cover of an old Diamond Head song Metallica did way back. "Am I Evil, yes I fucking Am".
Amazing.

I have to say, since the whole Miami rock radio drama happened, the new station, Pure Rock 93.1, has emerged as a very cool station. Yes, they still play way too much of Ninties stalwarts Nirvana, RHCPs, and Pearl Jam (etc), but these guys actually play Megadeth! Pantera!! and yes, the go way passed Metallica's "Black Album" and play the old school kick ass stuff! Yes, this station is definitely a breath of fresh air.

What else. Well, my health has been at issue lately, but I don't really feel like talking about it right now. Let's just say I really need to get much more excercise than I have been getting.

I'm really glad that HILARY SWANK, Clint Eastwood, Morgan Freeman, and CATE BLANCHETT won Oscars.
I'm also glad all the hype is over for now.

I can't wait for Frank Miller's SIN CITY.
As badly as I wanna see it, my wimpy side will probably keep me from seeing The Ring Two.

I know there's more that I could get into, but, no. Maybe next time...
