At first I had wanted to see Year One. Then I thought better of it, and decided not to. Then, at the very last minute, I decided to see it. Big mistake.
I’m sorry to say that I’m not even sure Year One is worth a rental fee.

Harold Ramis co-wrote and directed this movie, which should have made it a better flick, right? Jack Black and Michael Cera played, as usual, Jack Black and Michael Cera. I mean, I still liked Cera, but he really needs to start showing some range. I’m not crazy about Jack Black, and this movie did nothing to change my feelings about him.

There are several talented people in the movie, but there pretty much all wasted. I especially feel for Oliver Platt, because I really feel his role was well beneath him. Oh well. Guess it’s still a better job than mine.

So yeah, sorry Mr Ramis, but, wow, this was disappointing.
