I only came in here to say that I saw The Longest Yard on Saturday, but haven't been able to write or post a review yet, due to various reasons.
I hope to have it up ASAP.
Otherwise things are OK.
Well, except that a Monday off at work makes Tuesday very, very ugly!

Fuck.
It's been a hell of a few days.
My Dad was hospitalized again, and though he's out now, he's still an outpatient and also gets daily home visits from a nurse. He has to keep an IV in him at all times, and carry around this little duffel bag with a monitor in it.
it never ends.

Work. Fuck. It sucks.
Seven years I've been dealing with the ups and downs of my little dead end job.
What sucks about that is that I fully realize that makes me a very stupid person.

The relationship goes well, but when it does get bad, it gets ugly...mostly because I'm a very closed minded, big egoed bastard.
Fun.

Today is my parents' 47th anniversary.
Think about that, 47 years. Pretty freaking amazing.

Speaking of "anniversaries", yesterday I got my first call regarding my 20th high school reunion. It's not til next year, but I guess they need to get started trying to track people down and stuff. I didn't take the call. I'll avoid that event even more than I'll avoid the accursed Star Wars stuff...

Well, I have to say Friday the 13th actually lived up to it's name.
It kinda kicked my ass.
But things got better, and I think this weekend ended up being pretty good.
It had it's challenges, but yeah, for the most part, great weekend.
Especially because of my girlfriend. She really is wonderful. I don't deserve her, but don't remind her of that.
Really, she's great, and I think this weekend kind of brought us closer together than ever.

But I definitley won't buy from Best Buy any more...
Well, OK, I probably will. But if I do, I'll be sure to pay cash, so they have no idea I was in their stupid store!

So it's the weekend.

Lately I feel like I'm the bad guy.
The outsider nobody wants.
I don't usually tolerate conspiracy theorists, but lately I feel like THERE IS a conspiracy against me.
I feel like the whole fucking world is against me.
Of course it's not. I'm rational enough to know that. The world at large doesn't even know I exist. And that's how I like it.
But in the extremely small part of the world I do inhabit, I feel that it's all unraveling...falling apart, and I'm way too stupid, proud, weak, or angry, to pick up the pieces...

It's already May. Weird.

A couple of birthdays this month, a person I've kind of been avoiding, and one who seems to be avoiding me. Anyway, Happy Birthday.

THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA comes out on DVD today. Woo Hoo!

Got to see my sister, niece and nephew in Tampa over the weekend.
That went well. Finally got to see my niece play piano. She's doing very well.
Once upon a time, I thought she'd become a star athlete. Maybe she'll be a star pianist / singer / songwriter instead? She's a good kid. She can do whatever she wants.
She's got a good head on her shoulders.
I worry more about my nephew. He's not as well directed. But he's very young, so his future's wide open too.

Me?
Same shit. Can't seem to shake the BLAH's. They've got a really tight hold of me...
